A Diver Medic course is being organised in Coolmine Swimming Pool on Saturday, April 1st - not an April’s Fool joke! Also a trip to the National Hyperbaric Centre is being organised by Aer Lingus Sub Aqua Club on Saturday, April 8th. Please contact Louise (Training Officer) for more information regarding both events.

A dive trip (weather permitting) to The Hook, Co. Wexford is being organised for Sunday, March 26th. Contact Fiona for more details.
As the St. Patrick’s weekend is upon us, a timely reminder of some other proposed trips for 2006.
A demonstration on using the compressors will take place at 9:00p.m. on Thursday, March 23rd at the Boat House in Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Centre. Please contact Louise (Training Officer) if you wish to attend.
A Rescue Diver course takes place in Dublin City University on April 4th and 5th at 7:00p.m. The venue is Room QG02 in the Business School. Those wishing to attend should contact Mike (Dive Officer). A Club Diver examination will be scheduled shortly. Those who complete this examination will be eligible to attend the Rescue Diver course. Full details regarding the Club Diver examination will be posted shortly.
Our first weekend away is fast approaching. If you intend diving, you must have completed five snorkels. Please ensure your Active Diver Endorsement and Medical Disclaimer Renewals have been signed and stamped by Mike (Dive Officer). Where appropriate, a Dive Medical should be carried out and the First Medical Certificate completed by your GP. CFT membership/insurance must be paid. All gear should be serviced and in good working order.
This first club weekend away of 2006 takes place from March 16th to 19th in Kilkee, Co. Clare. Full details from Leah (Secretary). If you intend travelling, please ensure that your CFT membership / insurance have been paid. Further details from Dave (Treasurer).
